CREW Dallas is pleased that you are applying for the 2027 CREW Dallas Leadership Institute. The class topics have been thoughtfully curated specifically for our industry, and we are confident you will benefit both professionally and personally from the knowledge, experience, and wisdom the SMU professors will impart throughout the program.

Our classes are stronger because of the people who bring their experiences, perspectives, and voices to the conversation—and that includes you. Your unique background and professional journey will add depth to the learning experience and create opportunities for others to learn from you, just as you will learn from them. Before beginning your application, we invite you to take a moment to review our Expectations Statement and consider the meaningful role you will play in making the 2027 CREW Dallas Leadership Institute an exceptional experience for everyone.

2027 CDLI Class Schedule

Expectations Statement:

Given the CDLI program's objectives and the time and resources required to complete it, you are committing to participating in the program in full. This commitment includes attending the sessions, which requires time and travel away from the office.

The leadership team-building activity and lunch to follow (on February 19, 2027), prior to the class start at SMU, are mandatory (no exceptions). This is the opportunity to meet your classmates and is crucial to developing those relationships. Even though emergencies arise, any participant who misses more than one session, for whatever reason, may be asked to withdraw from the program, and no portion of the fees will be refunded.

Applicant Requirements:

Must be CREW Dallas members, in good standing, on January 1, 2027.
Your application cannot be considered until the non-refundable registration fee of $100 is paid. Follow this link (I will provide it once the page opens) to make a payment before submitting this application.
If accepted, the application fee will be applied to the total CDLI Fee.
By applying, you understand that if accepted, the remaining amount ($4,200) must be paid in full no later than January 31, 2027.

Session Statement:

Attendees should arrive prepared to be fully engaged, dress professionally, and be present throughout the session. To support a meaningful experience for the cohort, participants are expected to refrain from working or handling other business during program activities. Happy hours after each class are highly encouraged but not required.
